Another lesson

I had a conversation with my sister recently, she is in the process of getting her masters in phycology focusing on how the brain works. They are doing research in the field to understand how antidepressants work, and they came across a very interesting discovery. It turns out that the brain works in this constant state of growth, that learning new things is actually critical to this process, and when we become stagnant we become depressed. Our bodies are literally telling us how important this state of constant growth and development is. The implications of this can not be overrated. I talk about Growth as the natural state of tings, the universe down to the plants, and here is yet another example of this fact. But the real lesson here is that our Joy is directly linked to our Growth in a fundamental way. We all need to keep this in mind.
